This book was a fun surprise for me because, although I didn’t watch many of Tucci’s movies and shows, I liked him from the few that I watched. Also, I like food. So when I found out Tucci has a foodie memoir coming out, I had to read it, and also listen to his own narration on audio.

What a joyful experience! Tucci talked about his foodie memories across every stage of his life, including but not only the acting years. I liked his passion when he writes about Italian food, especially the Italian recipes delivered generation by generation in his family. You can tell he’s a true food lover from the enthusiasm he has when he’s talking about fresh ingredients and how to prepare them.

Although this book is majorly talking about Italian cuisine, it weirdly brought me all the nostalgic feeling from my hometown and all the delicious food I had when I was a kid. Watch my full review on BookTube :)
